Growing up in England, Emily started riding at the age of 5 taking lessons at the local British Horse Society (BHS) riding school. At the age of 11 her parents bought her first pony and together they campaigned the local jumper circuit winning classes up to the 2’9” divisions. After graduating college she went on to apprentice at another BHS academy, studying for the horse care and teaching certifications.

After moving to America in 2010, she took on a teaching position at the California Riding Academy in Silicon Valley for 2 years. Taking students from absolute beginners through the levels to show the local C circuit hunters and also began freelancing at an Arabian show barn helping students cross train their horses. For the last 6 years Emily has run her own training barn in North Carolina teaching both hunters and dressage.
