Poppy – 6-Year-Old Bay Mare for Sale

Looking for a fancy project on a budget? Meet Poppy, (JC registered ‘Cool Opportunity’) a 2019 Bay mare standing at 16hh. She was never raced and was late started as a 5 year old so has super low mileage. Poppy has been in professional training with a USDF dressage trainer who has trained many thoroughbreds, including a top finisher at the RRP in Kentucky. She has a solid foundation in ground work and dressage and is currently schooling all the first level movements. Lightly started over fences she shows talent and scope.

She is barefoot with good quality hooves, has no vices and is easy around the barn. Poppy is very level headed, doesn’t spook or act silly under saddle, has been ridden by amateurs and teenagers and shows a very willing temperament.

She has clouding in her right eye which we believe causes some vision loss on that side. But it doesn’t seem to affect her abilities on the flat or jumping. Her price reflects this small imperfection but will increase this spring as she starts showing

Mr. Higgins – Versatile 17-Year-Old Pony for Sale

Awesome medium pony. Mr Higgins is the perfect pocket rocket size at 14hh and only 17yrs old. Lots of go but with a good brain and doesn’t get silly. Can be ridden both English or western - he’s got great basics and is ready to be finished out however you like. Floaty hunter trot and the most comfortable canter/lope. Shows good scope over fences, has started on the barrel pattern and is learning roping. Has done beginner and advanced lessons, camps and horsemanship classes. Super fun little pony, I just have too many and one has to go.

Barefoot, sound with no maintenance and no vices. Great ground manners, clips, bathes, leads etc.
